Klein ISD Fine Arts Director Fine Arts Administrator of the Year by TxETA

The Texas Educational Theatre Association (TxETA) recognized Klein ISD Fine Arts Director Frank Chuter as the 2024 Fine Arts Administrator of the Year.

The TxETA promotes and supports theater educators and students across Texas. The organization honors theater educators whose dedication and visionary leadership have significantly impacted their colleagues and students, elevating the standards of theater arts education across Texas.

“It is an incredible honor to be recognized as the Administrator of the Year by the Texas Educational Theatre Association,” Mr. Chuter said. “I am humbled by it. My entire professional life has been dedicated to supporting student growth in the fine arts. I am ultimately thankful to be able to continue this in support of the students and teachers in Klein ISD.”

Mr. Chuter has had an outstanding career in theatre education for over 20 years, serving students in various capacities. Most recently, he returned to the Klein ISD as the Fine Arts Director during the 2023-2024 school year.

“Mr. Chuter’s recognition reflects his exemplary leadership in Fine Arts and his tireless efforts to cultivate a vibrant and innovative arts culture in Klein ISD,” Chief Academic Officer Dr. Anthony Indelicato said. “His role as Director has been marked by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of theater education and providing students with enriching opportunities to explore their creative talents here in Klein ISD.”

A career in Fine Arts has always been at the forefront of Mr. Chuter’s path. In 1996, Mr. Chuter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre at the University of Houston and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2016.

Mr. Chuter has led fine arts students at all levels of UIL and has attended many regional contests. In addition to his outstanding career in education, Mr. Chuter has worked on the programming committee for TxETA’s Theatre Fest for the past three years, serving as Director of Programming for the last two conventions.

We are so blessed to have educators like Mr. Chuter in the Klein Family! Mr. Chuter, thank you for all you do to ensure the success of every student.
