Benfer Elementary Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting

Two students and a teacher from Benfer Elementary were honored at the October Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and talent in the classroom.
 
Pre-K teacher Cynthia Silva embodies the Klein ISD Promise2Purpose shared vision by being student-focused and relationship-driven. Not only does Ms. Silva dedicate her time to students, but she is also a lead mentor for new and returning teachers.  

“From day one, she builds strong connections with her students and their families, ensuring everyone feels valued in the learning process,” Benfer Principal Ashley Johnson said. 

Dylan Pham is an outstanding student at Benfer Elementary. He is a great example of strong character for those around him and is always kind and caring.

“Dylan has many great leadership skills, and he is a great role model here at Benfer,” teacher Ms. Megan Bailey said. “Dylan shows his Bobcat P.A.W.S. on a daily basis. His positive attitude is evident the moment he walks onto campus.” 

Student Samantha is passionate about learning. She is a hardworking and disciplined student. Her drive toward her academics constantly motivates her peers. 

“Samantha is an incredible model for all of our fifth-grade students,” teacher Ms. Kennedy Culbreath said. “Through her academics and interactions with others, she constantly demonstrates the characteristics of being a Benfer Bobcat.”

Congratulations again to Dylan, Samantha, and Ms. Silva for being brilliant Bobcats. Your hard work and dedication truly make our community shine and exemplify leadership to our Klein Family.
